The following electrical components are non-standard and have been designed by Carpe Noctem:



The kicking device is powered by a solenoid coil. It uses two shovels to vary a kicked ball's trajectory.


The protective bow is designed to withstand forces occurring in accidental robot-robot collisions. Excessive forces are directed onto the base plane.

The camera bearing holds the camera head.


The camera bearing is designed to be both light and robust to incoming balls, made out of Titanium.

The camera head is mounted onto the camera bearings. It offers mount points for cameras of varying sizes. In order to provide omni-vision, a mirror is mountable on the top cap.
