Carpe Noctem Robotic Soccer

The whole Carpe-Noctem-Team has been invited to the c’t-Magazin, a weekly consumer broadcasting recorded in Kassel. We’ve uploaded some pictures, the recording will be available soon. The pictures are a bit blurry, sorry for that.

Sorry for the long delay, but we all had to catch up some sleep. Curiously, we missed the night from Thursday to Friday. On Saturday then we entered the fair at noon and started to clean up our team area and to pack our bags. So I’ll try to reflect the last two days now. [...]

What a game! Even though we lost the game and shot an own goal, it was really exciting, very reactive, and cooperative. As in our previous matches the network quality was excellent. No problem with communication for the first time in six years (four years with the Ulm Sparrows).

Well, today I finally realized (after having thought this the last six years) that I’m definitely no referee. Just wanted to note this here in order to not forget it.

Far from playing brilliant. What a game! First our camera was irritated by small floodlights from the left (or right, whichever direction on the field you prefer).
