We’ve just catched a glimpse of our new robot base platform. It is an omni-directional design with three motors. We’ll fetch it today so we can perfom some tests this weekend. It looks great and we’re very confident of achieving our goal.

Robbie Base I
The base platform from the bottom. At the verticles there are
the wheel bearings. At the bottom left one wheel is mounted. The
orthogonal wheels of this omni-directional wheel are coated with an
inner tube. This gives really great grip! :)
